Use this form to provision Directory Numbers (DN) for services or destinations considered to be location-based, such as Emergency (911), Directory Assistance (411), Security, Help Desk, etc.
When these numbers are dialed, the system performs Location Based Call Routing and the call is routed to the appropriate service located in the same network zone (Network Zones) as the call originating device.
Use this form for the following tasks:
Program Location Based Call Routing
Before provisioning this form, identify all numbers and services considered to be location based.
A maximum of 2500 Location Based Numbers (LBN) can be provisioned.
It is not mandatory, but strongly recommended to update the Telephone Directory to ensure that all LBNs are included. Third-party applications require that the information is stored in the Telephone Directory.
This form is shared between all MiVoice Business systems in the SDS network (if provisioned), but it is not part of the initial synchronization.
